Credit Control

Efficient and successful businesses survive by maintaining a good cash flow and minimising debtors. MHR offers a Control Service for Debt Collection if required - this usually being linked with a full book keeping service encompassing both Purchase and Sales Ledger services.

 

Undertakings for consideration:

  • Establish credit worthiness of a potential customer

  • Establish Credit Terms and levels

  • Collect trade references from other suppliers/banks

  • Monitor Credit Limits set checking to see that they are not exceeded

  • Consider minimum order level.

  • Establish Credit Terms agreement with customers

  • Establish a Standard Sales Contract if appropriate

  • Review appropriateness of discount policy for prompt/early payment

  • Consider and agree penalties for late payments
