
Payroll and Pensions
(Auto-enrolment)

MHR provides a complete payroll service (including auto-enrolment (commonly referred to as Workplace Pensions) to its clients.
Our IRIS Payroll system allows for payslips to be loaded into a GDPR compliant platform which the employees of our clients can access from anywhere (including their phone). Reports for the clients are also posted to a similar GDPR compliant system for approval or reference, as agreed with the client; both systems retain the information for 6 years, in the case of employees, even after they have left our client company
MHR can provide the following Services:

Register with relevant bodies for PAYE & National Insurance

Process payrolls either monthly or other timeframe agreed

Maintain employee records - address changes/Tax Code changes

Record statutory required personnel information

Deal with special deductions/payments (e.g. Student Loans/SMP/SSP/AoE etc.)

Produce management and costing reports

Load and create BACS payments for client to authorise

Submit year-end data

Deal with any queries relating to payroll procedures/regulation changes etc.

Prepare P45’s, P60's and other forms and arrange submission to authorities as appropriate.

Maintain pension records as required by “Auto Enrolment” and submit payments to Pension Providers as applicable
Working with our HR specialist we can also

Carry out a PAYE health check to ensure your systems are compliant and mitigate your risk of HMRC visits

Advise on the status of individual’s not employed via the payroll, including consideration of the intermediary, agency and off-payroll working rules

Advise on the tax position for UK employees working overseas or non-resident individuals coming to work in the UK

Assist with remuneration planning and advise on employee share incentives

Review of benefits provided to your employees and help with reporting them to HMRC

Review of employee payments to ensure that they are compliant with the national living wage and national minimum wage (NLW/NMW) regulations
